Great News from Shapeways: A New Chapter Begins!
Shapeways has been saved by two of its original co-founders and their Eindhoven team, who are now working to rebuild the company after its bankruptcy earlier this year. Their focus is on delivering top-notch digital manufacturing services to customers.
While the former marketplace cannot be restored, Shapeways is exploring new ways to support the community, including potential shop integrations with Shopify and Etsy. In the meantime, models can be uploaded and ordered via Instant Quote.
I’m excited about the possibility of using Shapeways again to 3D print my MagDragster cars!
